I had my first exposure to yoga when I was fifteen years old. I began my practice as a way to reduce stress and relax, but yoga quickly became much more than a ‘chill out’ technique for me. I continue to be amazed at how profoundly practicing yoga changes my outlook and my life in both subtle and very obvious ways.
I graduated from the Moksana Yoga Center’s 250-hour teacher training program in Victoria, BC, Canada in August 2009. My background is primarily flow/vinyasa and Anusara yoga. I’ve studied with many teachers including David Williams, Rolf Gates, Ross Rayburn, and Gina Minyard.
In addition to studying yoga, I am currently working on a degree in biochemistry at UAH. I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge of yoga and my enthusiasm for the practice with you!
